Method

1. Add NAWI Superfood Brownie Mix to a medium bowl. Add water.

2. Add 1/2 c oil and mix until combined.

3. Roll mix into bite-sized balls.

4. Push ball onto wooden dowel.

5. Arrange on a baking sheet and freeze until solid, ~1 hour.

6. In a separate small bowl while brownie pops are freezing, melt chocolate chips with 1 TB oil and stir until smooth.

7. Remove brownie pops from the freezer and coat in melted chocolate.

8. Push the coated pops into the holes in the box. Let chocolate dry, ~15 mins. Freeze or refrigerate if desired.

  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 c + 1 TB oil (avocado or coconut), separated
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (I like Hu's no-sugar-added dark chocolate chips)
  • 12 small wooden dowels
  • 1 small cardboard box with 12 holes poked in the bottom
  • Optional: toppings such as chopped nuts, coconut flakes or cacao powder

Yield: 12 brownie cake pops
